The Bloomfield Bobcats entered their tilt with the Hope Christian Huskies with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Bloomfield came out on top against Hope Christian by a score of 45-34 on Friday. This was payback for Bloomfield, who suffered a 60-46 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Bloomfield had a senior duo take command as Aliya Quintana dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds and Danielle Johnson scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and eight assists. Quintana is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Delanna Russell, who scored four points along with 14 rebounds.
Bloomfield's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Hope Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.
Bloomfield and St. Pius X will face off at 5:00 p.m. on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
