Softball Recap: D'Hanis Comes Up Short

The D'Hanis Cowboys lost 27-16 to the Falls City Beavers on Monday. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

D'Hanis got a massive performance out of Jessa Frosch, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Magers, who scored four runs while going 4-for-4.

Frosch wasn't the only one working in the hit department: D'Hanis kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.

D'Hanis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Falls City, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.

D'Hanis wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 17-7 loss against Poteet on the 11th. Falls City has also already played their next matchup (against Non Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
