The Cambridge Christian Lancers were handed a two-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against the Redeemer Christian Lions on Friday. Cambridge Christian breezed by Redeemer Christian on the road to the tune of 73-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Cambridge Christian has posted since December 8, 2023.
Cambridge Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caden Martinez out in front who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Proffitt, who scored 16 points.
The win got Cambridge Christian back to even at 8-8. As for Redeemer Christian, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cambridge Christian will take on Clearwater Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clearwater Central Catholic is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Redeemer Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Warner Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 20th. Hopefully Warner Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
