Shades Valley has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Fairfield Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Monday, Shades Valley beat Midfield 62-54.
Meanwhile, Fairfield had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points), and they went ahead and made it 11 on Monday. They snuck past Pinson Valley with a 52-46 win.
Shades Valley has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Fairfield, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-2.
Shades Valley beat Fairfield 56-49 when the teams last played back in December of 2018. Will Shades Valley repeat their success, or does Fairfield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
