The Stafford/Somers/East Windsor Bulldogs''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They suffered a tough 27-6 defeat at the hands of Capital Prep/Achievement First.
Seth Ives threw for 101 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. Robert Goines was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards. On the ground, Tyler Wolf rushed for 95 yards on only 13 carries.
Hashim Jones was his usual excellent self, rushing for 211 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry. Jones is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played.
Stafford/Somers/East Windsor now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Capital Prep/Achievement First, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
