Oak City Prep will need focus on slowing down Asany Richmond, one of several New Life Christian Academy players who made an impact when they last played. He almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. Richmond has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Baldwin, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards.

Keep an eye on the arc in Tuesday's contest: Oak City Prep has been dynamite from deep this season, having made 42.4% of their three-pointers per game. It's a different story for New Life Christian Academy, though, as they've only made 27.7% of their threes this season. Given Oak City Prep's sizable advantage in that area, New Life Christian Academy will need to find a way to close that gap.
Oak City Prep came up short against New Life Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 78-74. Can Oak City Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
