Meanwhile, Our Lady of the Elms fought the good fight in their overtime match against St. Martin de Porres on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 55-47 to the Lions.
Shaw has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Our Lady of the Elms, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-6.
