There's no place like home for the Wood River Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  on Thursday. They blew past Centura 71-34 at home. The  match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  39-16.
 Several Centurions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Barrett Fries, who  scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was  Zavery Jensen, who  scored 9 points.
 The  victory  got Wood River back to even at 1-1. As for Centura,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 0-2.
 Wood River will be playing in front of their home fans against Adams Central on Tuesday. As for Centura, they will head out on the road to face off against Central City at 7:45  p.m.  on Friday.
