Holden Burd posted a new career-low in hits on Tuesday. He was dialed in as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He was up against Martin and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them on Tuesday. Saugatuck is undefeated when Burd allows two or fewer earned runs, but 6-8 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Burd and Saugatuck are taking a road trip to challenge Calvary at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trailblazers are a perfect 6-0 against the Crusaders going back to May of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
