Central Christian has gone a perfect 5-0 against Atmore Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Central Christian Saints are taking a road trip to challenge the Atmore Christian Rams at 4:00 p.m. Atmore Christian took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Central Christian, who comes in off a win.
Central Christian made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Trinitas Christian, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Central Christian's pitcher stepped up to hand Trinitas Christian a 17-0 shutout on Monday. The Saints' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Wil Chandler was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, Central Christian got a massive performance out of Jackson Allen, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs Allen has posted since back in April of 2024. Ace Baxter was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Central Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .524. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Atmore Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Snook Christian Academy, falling 19-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.
Central Christian's record now sits at 2-3. As for Atmore Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
Everything went Central Christian's way against Atmore Christian when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Central Christian made off with a 12-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Central Christian since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
