Baseball Recap: Kiowa Has No Trouble Against South Park

Kiowa hadn't done well against South Park recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Indians were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over the Burros. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Indians considering their one-run performance the match before.

Adler Kreig was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Jd Brewer was another key player, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs.

Kiowa always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Kiowa's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for South Park, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kiowa will head out to square off against Weldon Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.54 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for South Park, they will take on Sanford at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
