White Oak had a senior duo take command as Kaemon Noel scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and Derrick Benbow jr scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. The game was Benbow jr's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Curtis Jackson, who scored eight points along with five steals.
Andrews has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for White Oak, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
Andrews will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Aynor at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
