Patrick Henry and Liberty Center are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. The Patrick Henry Patriots will be playing at home against the Liberty Center Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Patrick Henry will be strutting in after a win while Liberty Center will be coming in after a loss.
Patrick Henry put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 74-51 margin over Edon.
Meanwhile, Liberty Center unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 55-47 to Emmanuel Christian. While losing is never fun, Liberty Center can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st, while Emmanuel Christian is ranked 70th).
The victory got Patrick Henry back to even at 8-8. As for Liberty Center, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.
Patrick Henry barely slipped by Liberty Center in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, winning 43-42. Does Patrick Henry have another victory up their sleeve, or will Liberty Center turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
