Meanwhile, St. Charles West had enough points to win and then some against Hillsboro, taking their matchup 30-14.
St. Charles West's win lifted them to 1-1 while Fort Zumwalt East's defeat dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if St. Charles West can add another positive mark to their record or if Fort Zumwalt East can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of St. Charles West's step.
