Cienega fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Nogales on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 10-6 to the Apaches. The Bobcats' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

JAMES LINZMEYER made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Cienega's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 7-3 (and 4-5 when he doesn't). ISRAEL HERNANDEZ also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Cienega's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Nogales, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7-1 record this season.

While Cienega had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
