Basis is 9-1 against Seligman since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Basis Yeti will look to defend their home court against the Seligman Antelopes at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Basis is ranked 107th, while Seligman is ranked 105th).
Last Saturday, Basis got the win against BASIS Phoenix by a conclusive 47-27. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Basis.
Jack Engelthaler continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Basis' points. Another player making a difference was McLane Baillie, who scored 4 points along with 9 rebounds and 7 steals.
Meanwhile, Seligman was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 47-41 to Williams.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Basis' win pushed their record up to 3-1, while BASIS Phoenix's defeat dropped theirs down to 1-3.
Everything came up roses for Basis against Seligman in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 81-36 victory. Does Basis have another victory up their sleeve, or will Seligman turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
