West have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will square off against Tehachapi at 7:30 PM. West are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
West's three-game streak of losses has finally come to an end. They blew past Golden Valley 29-0 last Friday. Senior Damani Jackson was the offensive standout of the match for West, as he rushed for 79 yards and 1 touchdown.
Meanwhile, Tehachapi took a serious blow against Ridgeview, falling 0-48. Tehachapi were down by 0-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
West's win lifted them to 4-5 while Tehachapi's loss dropped them down to 2-7. Tehachapi's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a West defensive front that amassed five sacks against Golden Valley, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
