The Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles posted their biggest victory since December 9, 2023 on Tuesday. They really took it to Trinity for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-18 win at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-12.
Elkhart Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sheridan Maxwell, who scored 11 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydni Haviland, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
Elkhart Christian Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-11. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Trinity, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elkhart Christian Academy will take on South Bend Riley at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Bend Riley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Trinity, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Jimtown at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Jimtown focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 last Friday.
