Cuyahoga Heights never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Open Door Christian Patriots as they made off with a 16-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Red Wolves, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Giada Presot, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Addison Bohning was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Cuyahoga Heights' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Open Door Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
