Berwig has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Devin Watson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Glades Central's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Okeechobee. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Glades Central in their matchups with the Brahmans: they've now lost four in a row.
Pompano Beach has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. As for Glades Central, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8.
