While Conway's victory against Jonesboro wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wampus Cats narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Hurricane 7-6. The Wampus Cats haven't had any issues with the Hurricane recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Conway's win bumped their record up to 24-1. As for Jonesboro, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Coming up, Conway will challenge Lakeside at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wampus Cats will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. Jonesboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
