Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against King & Queen Central at Blessed Sacrament Huguenot Catholic School at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They captured a comfortable 51-34 win over Broadwater Academy.
Meanwhile, King & Queen Central had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 20-69 to Roanoke Catholic. King & Queen Central were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-56.
Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's victory lifted them to 1-0 while King & Queen Central's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot can add another positive mark to their record or if King & Queen Central can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's step.
