The West Field Longhorns and the Box Elder Bees, after both having extra time off, will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Field will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
West Field is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Roy last Friday as they made off with a 21-2 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Longhorns with their most commanding win of the season.

West Field got a massive performance out of Kason Taylor, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Taylor a new career-high. Sam Smith was another key player, firing off two home runs and three runs while going 2-for-3.
West Field kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Box Elder and Fremont meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again last Friday. The Bees lost 12-4 to the Wolves.
Box Elder saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Stewart, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Those hits were Stewart's first of the season. Another was Maddox Earnest, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
West Field's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Box Elder, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
Box Elder's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: West Field hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .395. It's a different story for Box Elder, though, as they've only averaged .204. Will they be able to contain West Field's hitters?
West Field came out on top in a nail-biter against Box Elder when the teams last played back in April of 2025, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Longhorns since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
