Last Friday, Hardin-Central didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Bearcats, but they still walked away with a 31-25 win. The win was just what Hardin-Central needed coming off of a 64-33 loss in their prior match.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Melanie Thornburg, who scored seven points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brilynn Zykan, who scored six points along with three steals.
Hardin-Central now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Wellington-Napoleon, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14.
