Gemma Mulhollen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Manatee never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Braden River on Wednesday. They blew past the Pirates 20-3. That looming 20-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Hurricanes yet this season.
Hope Jordan was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two doubles. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jenna Caldwell, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Sarasota's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's game. The Sailors have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Manatee, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Sarasota continue to outrun the ball?
Sarasota took their win against Manatee in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 18-2 score. Do the Sailors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hurricanes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
