Danny Mercado Delivers Electric Effort Vs Justin-Siena
Starting off the list is Casa Grande's Danny Mercado, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mercado threw for 198 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes, and also rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown.
Mercado must have Justin-Siena's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Mercado threw for 182 yards and five touchdowns on only 17 passes the last time he and the Braves duked it out back in October of 2023.

Mason Harris and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Mason Harris was instrumental in extending American Canyon's winning streak to seven on Friday. Harris wasn't messing around, rushing for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 68 yards and a touchdown. The contest was his fourth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season.
American Canyon pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Harris and American Canyon will welcome Napa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Another Game with at Least 101 Rushing Yards from Andre Lopez
Andre Lopez's big game helped extend American Canyon's winning streak to seven on Friday. Lopez was dynamite, rushing for 139 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Lopez might have his next game, a home matchup with Napa, circled on his calendar. When Lopez last faced the Grizzlies back in October of 2023, he rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries.

Ronan Curley Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Casa Grande got the W thanks in part to Ronan Curley playing the best football he has all season. Curley rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 48 receiving yards.
For the year, Curley has averaged 20.7 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.29 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 47.57 rushing yards.
