The Logan Chieftains suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Sheridan on the road and fell 53-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Logan has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Logan lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dani Mahaffey. Despite the final result, she scored four points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenzie Daubenmire, who scored three points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Logan has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Sheridan, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan will take on Bexley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sheridan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Meadowbrook at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. Meadowbrook will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
