Bay State - Herget recap Oct. 31, 2012
Walpole extended the longest winning streak in Bay State - Herget this week by beating Newton North, 47-0. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Rebels.
Walpole took down the Tigers 47-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Natick's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Troy Flutie threw for 151 and two touchdowns and Brian Dunlap had 60 yards receiving. On the ground Flutie chipped in 130 yards. Justin Robinson helped Natick's passing attack out by catching four balls for 58 yards.
Natick's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Redhawks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Flutie has thrown for 1628 yards and 21 touchdowns this season, while Dunlap has 45 catches for 854 yards. Flutie also leads the league in rushing with 685 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Wellesley takes on the Redhawks. The Raiders are currently in third, while Natick is in second.
Barry Greener's team led Bay State - Herget in scoring this week after putting up 47 points on Newton North.
