The Chisholm Bluestreaks have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 56-49 to Cromwell on Thursday. Chisholm has struggled against the Cardinals recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Cromwell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isabella Anderson, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. Anderson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Siiena Anderson, who scored 13 points along with five assists and four steals.
Chisholm's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Cromwell, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing South Ridge the next time they take the court. Chisholm will head out to face the Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cardinals will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
