Ridgeline is a perfect 4-0 against Stansbury since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Riverhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Stallions at 3:30 p.m. Ridgeline is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
On Friday, Ridgeline earned a 14-9 win over Tooele. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Riverhawks.

Meanwhile, Stansbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of Deseret Peak.
Bryn Leigh Jones spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Savannah Merritt made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Bonnie Barnett, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Stansbury's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Ridgeline, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
Ridgeline's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's matchup. The Riverhawks have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Stansbury, though, as they've been averaging only 0.7 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Ridgeline continue to outrun the ball?
Ridgeline came out on top in a nail-biter against Stansbury when the teams last played back in May of 2021, sneaking past 12-11. Do the Riverhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Stallions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
