Lexington Christian Academy was outmatched by Rocky Hill Country Day on the road and fell 86-41. Lexington Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-22.
Rocky Hill Country Day's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aliona Nikulina, who scored 29 points along with seven rebounds. The matchup was Nikulina's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dariia Serednytska, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Lexington Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Rocky Hill Country Day, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Lexington Christian Academy and Beaver Country Day will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 4:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Rocky Hill Country Day will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mount St. Charles Academy at 4:30 p.m. on December 30th.
