Big Island II recap Sept. 26, 2012
Kamehameha Hawai'i extended the longest winning streak in Big Island II this week by beating Ka'u, 43-0. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Konawaena's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kahoalii Karratti has thrown for 1169 yards and 17 touchdowns this season, while Kenan Gaspar has 14 catches for 349 yards. John Kamoku leads the league in rushing with 298 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Kamehameha Hawai'i takes on second place Konawaena. Kamehameha Hawai'i bested the Trojans last week, while Konawaena defeated Hawaii Prep.

Honoka'a made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,477 from 9,131. The advance stemmed from a 52-8 victory over Kohala last week.
