Even though the Gulliver Prep Raiders scored an imposing 57 points on Thursday, TERRA Environmental still came out on top. TERRA Environmental skirted past Gulliver Prep 59-57. The victory made it back-to-back wins for TERRA Environmental.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead TERRA Environmental to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nick Merlo, who scored 15 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ramiro Pando-Tristan, who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds.
TERRA Environmental's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Gulliver Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
TERRA Environmental will be playing in front of their home fans against LaSalle at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gulliver Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Cypress Bay at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
