There's no place like home for Marion-Franklin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Africentric Early College Nubians on Wednesday as they made off with a 19-9 win. The victory continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Nubians: they've now won five in a row.

Caitlynn McGee was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Dexter, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Marion-Franklin hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Africentric Early College struck out ten times.

Marion-Franklin's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Africentric Early College, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10-1.

Marion-Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Africentric Early College, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 25-10 loss against Eastmoor Academy on the 16th.
