The Green Hill Hawks lost against the Beech Buccaneers last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Green Hill fell to Beech 49-45.
Beech had a senior duo take command as Genesis Harris scored 11 points along with three steals and Carson Sisk scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Sisk has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 20 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dani James, who scored nine points.
Green Hill's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-13. As for Beech, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-7.
Green Hill will be playing at home against Gallatin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Green Hill is facing Gallatin at the right time seeing as Gallatin is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Beech, they will head out on the road to square off against Hendersonville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beech is coming into the match with six straight victories on the road, so Hendersonville is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
