They took a 53-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mount Hope Christian Academy. Calvary Baptist Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

MCKOY is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 20 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was NOLAN CARNEY, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Calvary Baptist Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Mount Hope Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-10 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Calvary Baptist Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in West Virginia (West Logan Christian Academy is ranked 62nd, while the Patriots are ranked 87th). As for Mount Hope Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
