While Strayhorn put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Hickory Flat. The Mustangs blew past the Rebels 18-0. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won eight contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Strayhorn's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-10. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Hickory Flat, they dropped their record down to 0-19 with the loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Strayhorn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hickory Flat, they will face off against Myrtle at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least ten runs in their last nine matchups.
