A Season-Best Effort from Johnathan Schroeder Leads Oxford over Kiowa County
On Friday, Oxford got the W thanks in part to Johnathan Schroeder playing the best football he has all season. Schroeder rushed for 188 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 155 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The win (which was Oxford's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Schroeder will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Udall on Friday.

Koop Came Up Big in West Elk's 56-0 Victory
Creyo Koop was instrumental in extending West Elk's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Koop as he rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also caught a touchdown.
