Nate Davis Dazzles in Rockmart Victory
Rockmart picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Nate Davis. Nobody could stop Davis as he rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making ten total tackles and defending a pass.
Rockmart's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Davis and Rockmart will take on Murray County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Sonoraville Gets a Boost from Dixon in 20-14 Defeat

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Connor Schuknecht stepped things up a notch to give Union County the 'W'. Schuknecht was excellent, rushing for 126 yards and two touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (102.5).
On the year, Schuknecht has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 102.5 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had one rushing touchdown.

Waelyn Baliles Turns in Season-Best Performance
Sadly, Waelyn Baliles posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Coahulla Creek over Union County on Friday. Baliles threw for 180 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown.
Coahulla Creek's defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. Baliles and Coahulla Creek will head out to take on North Murray at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Madoxx Davis Leads North Cobb Christian over North Murray
North Cobb Christian was led to victory by Madoxx Davis, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Davis rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
North Cobb Christian's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Davis' next match is against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.
