 On the hitting side,  Kaitlyn Hudson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Mary Olive Maddox, who  went 1-for-3 with one  triple and one  run.
Saint James' loss dropped their record down to 51-9. As for Wicksburg, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 26 of their last 27 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 49-7 record  this season.
