Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan took down Platte/Geddes/Dakota Christian 46-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Canistota's dynamic duo of Shay Jolley and Jerad Nielsen proved tough for Menno/Marion to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Jolley threw for 40 yards and Nielsen had 38 yards receiving.
The Hawks' dynamic duo of Jolley and Nielsen proved to be unstoppable against the Razorbacks, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Nick Gortmaker provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Menno/Marion beat Canistota. He completed 3 passes for 35 yards and also ran for 160 yards.
Nielsen was the best receiver in Cornbelt (9 Man) this week as James Strang's team lost to Todd Obele's team.
Jolley put up the best numbers in passing as the Hawks lost to the Razorbacks.
Gortmaker was the most successful running back in the league this week. Chet Peterson also contributed to the rushing game with 141 yards on the ground.
Thanks to the talents of Jolley and Nick Hofer, Canistota has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Jolley is tops in the league in passing with 333 yards, while Hofer has rushed for 662 yards this season. Menno/Marion's Dylan Lehr leads the league in receiving yards with 193 on 7 catches.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between the Razorbacks and Howard. Menno/Marion enters the contest ranked 20th in the state, while the Tigers ranks first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Razorbacks take on Howard. Menno/Marion has allowed 42 points this season, while Pat Ruml's team has given up 53. The Razorbacks allowed 28 points last week as they defeated the Hawks.
