There's no place like home for Fairfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Flora Wolves on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Mules, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Fairfield was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-12.

Fairfield had a senior duo take command as Alexa Newman had 13 assists and four digs and Maci McConnaughhay had nine digs and three assists.

Fairfield is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Flora, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

Looking ahead, Fairfield will venture away from home to challenge Hamilton County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Flora, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Cisne on the 20th.
