Edison lost against Harrison Central back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Edison Wildcats took a 49-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harrison Central Huskies. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Harrison Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lauren Doane out in front who went 7 of 16 on her way to 15 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kara Blackburn, who posted 11 points and seven steals.

Edison's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. As for Harrison Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Edison will venture away from home to challenge Toronto at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Harrison Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-31 win against Brooke on the 21st.
