Volleyball Recap: Bear River Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Logan came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against Bear River, but Kailyn Rice wouldn't allow it. The Bears skirted past the Grizzlies 3-2 with plenty of help from Rice, who had 23 digs and five aces. Rice is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Bear River wouldn't go down easily and took Logan into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-7, 19-25, 23-25, 15-6.

Bear River's win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-1. As for Logan, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bear River will head out to take on Mountain Crest at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Bears their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Logan, they will head out on the road to challenge Roy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
