While Ketcham's victory against Ramapo wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Storm made off with a 42-41 win over the Gryphons. The victory continues a trend for the Storm in their matchups with the Gryphons: they've now won five in a row.

Despite the defeat, Ramapo had strong showings from Davonte Brown, who rushed for 257 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 15.1 yards per carry, and Nahum Pierre, who rushed for 167 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. Brown's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.

Ketcham's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Ramapo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ketcham will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against White Plains at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Ramapo, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Yonkers Brave [Saunders Trades & Tech/Lincoln/Riverside/Palisade Prep] at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
