Softball Recap: Mora Has No Trouble Against Mccurdy

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Mora and McCurdy meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Rangers were the clear victors by a 23-4 margin over the Bobcats. Considering the Rangers have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mora is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.6 runs over those games. As for McCurdy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.

Mora will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bobcats: the pair will be back at it again later today.
