At the plate, Sydney Miller was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Callie Lissenden, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs.
Bishop O'Connell always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Potomac School only posted an OBP of .280.
Meanwhile, Paul VI got themselves on the board against Catholic on Tuesday, but Catholic never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 17-0 victory.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Bishop O'Connell has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 11 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Paul VI struggles in that department as they've been averaging 10.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Bishop O'Connell couldn't quite finish off Paul VI in their previous matchup on Saturday and fell 3-1. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
