Taunton is a perfect 10-0 against Milford since June of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Tigers will face off against the Scarlet Hawks at 4:30 p.m. Taunton is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.
On Monday, Taunton needed a bit of extra time to put away King Philip Regional. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Warriors 3-2.

Cameron Tomaszycki made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Tomaszycki was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Joseph Benoit, who went 4-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Cam Dorr was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Taunton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as King Philip Regional only posted a batting average of .219.
Meanwhile, Milford lost 15-2 to Franklin on Monday.
Milford saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Derek Marcolini, who went 3-for-4 with one double.
Taunton's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Milford, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.
Milford's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Taunton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .333. It's a different story for Milford, though, as they've only averaged .204. Will they be able to contain Taunton's hitters?
Taunton took their victory against Milford in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
