Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lowpoint-Washburn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Clayton Grebner, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Grebner hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Evan Schumacher was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with nine rebounds.
Lowpoint-Washburn's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Dwight, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.
Lowpoint-Washburn will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cornerstone Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Dwight won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Putnam County at 6:00 p.m. on January 20th. Putnam County is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
