The Hope Academy Trojan Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Nazaret Christian Academy Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hope Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 576 points over their last eight matchups.
Even though Vine Christian Academy scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, Hope Academy still came out on top. Hope Academy took down Vine Christian Academy 70-55.
Dwayne Foreman III continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 36 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Hope Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Nathaniel Boyer, who scored ten points.
Nazaret Christian Academy was handed a 34-point defeat in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Odyssey Charter School on Friday. Nazaret Christian Academy narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Odyssey Charter School 55-53. The victory was just what Nazaret Christian Academy needed coming off of a 96-62 defeat in their prior match.
Hope Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Nazaret Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.
Everything came up roses for Hope Academy against Nazaret Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 76-40 victory. With Hope Academy ahead 56-15 at the half, the game was all but over already.
